She designed a customized meal plan according to my specific body and lifestyle. She made it fun and realistic by incorporating food I actually like, and took the time to explain every little detail – from the most basic to the scientific. She was always available to help. Furthermore, as a fellow crossfit member, she also provided me with much information and motivation in the field of fitness. My results: I lost 20 pounds in under 3 months, my energy levels skyrocketed, I became a happier person, I feel healthier every day and I now know how to sustain a healthy lifestyle long term. A Real Game Changer
Brittany has been a life changer for me. I was gaining weight and still hungry all the time. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I had already tried to cut my consumption and eat healthier. But my food choices were all wrong however I wasn’t aware. Brittany listened to me and began providing better food choices while explaining that I was consuming tremendous amounts of sugar. The change in diet wasn’t difficult. As a matter of fact, I’m eating more. Not hungry ever. And the food I’m eating is preferable to what I was used to when I “thought” I was dieting.
In addition, Brittany was available for me all the time. She spent time suggesting snacks, dessert options and other food choices to satisfy all my urges. My body has truly transformed. And this is more than a diet. It is a way of life. I thought I knew nutrition until I met Brittany. She’s the best and is the only nutrition coach I would ever recommend.
Lose weight without being hungry
I lost 15 pounds over three months without ever feeling that I was depriving myself food. Brittany sat with me and listened to my battles with dieting and customized a meal plan that would work for me. She helped me with a shopping list and produced a meal plan where I am eating six times per day. Every few hours when I get hungry, I eat. The best part is that I am losing weight without starving myself and feel good about making the right food choices. I never thought it would be so easy to lose weight. Thank you Brittany for helping me make the changes I always wanted to make but could never implement on my own. My Outlook Has Changed
Starting my freshman year of college I was weighing my heaviest at 230lbs. I was going to Crossfit five days a week but the major part of why I wasn’t losing any weight was because of my diet. These past few months I decided to make a change of my eating lifestyle, so I reached out to Optimum Lifestyle RX. I knew Brittany before because she is a part of my gym. During this process we did my measurements, weight and also created a meal plan to make sure I got the proper amount of calories everyday. Another major reason why I reached out to Brittany was because I’m a Type One Diabetic and wanted to improve my blood sugars, which have changed tremendously. Now, I have a better outlook on what I should/shouldn’t incorporate in my diet with an occasional cheat meal! Also my Hemoglobin A1C has went down and I couldn’t be happier! When I started with Brittany I weighed in at 220, now I’ve lost 15 pounds and lost Inches. I am very happy how I look and not embarrassed anymore when I’m out in public or if I get a picture taken of me!
I began CrossFit in August 2015 to prepare for 2 close friends wedding parties in the winter. At that time I weighed the heaviest ever at 173lbs. I was ALWAYS active and love to exercise, but learned over time its not only about the exercise but what you are putting into your body. Once I started to lose the weight through CrossFit and healthy eating, I wanted to see how changing around my diet and eating clean would effect my body. I lost 20 lbs and looked great but still felt my body could look better. I had come back from a few vacations and I decided this was the time to start to become strict and needed a new action plan. I reached out to Brittany, a fellow CrossFit member and nutritionist and it was life changing. She asked me if I was committed and ready and that if I was to do this I need to really commit to it. She also reinforced the fact it was not a diet but had to start to become a way of life. We took my measurements, weight and she constructed a plan. We decided together that I will track my calories/macros and to eat as clean as possible following the Paleo diet platform of meat, fish, eggs, nuts, and most fruits. From May 2015-November 2017, 6 months my body changed immensely. I lost 15 more pounds, went down 4 inches in my waist, and 1 inch around my thighs. As of today, I have been able to maintain the weight loss and keep my body healthy and in shape. Without Brittany and he plan we constructed together for my body, this all could not have been possible. On a personal level, we have developed a friendship through CrossFit and the relationship we have built through client and student. It’s a great feeling!
I was diagnosed with a medical condition this past year that has turned my life upside down. After being prescribed prednisone (steroids) and going through infusions the pounds came on fast! Brittany listened to my issues and was empathetic to my frustration in having put on 40lbs in 4 months. She designed a meal plan that worked with my condition and also fueled my body with the nutrients I needed to not have a relapse. This helped lose those steroid pounds.
Brittany had me check in weekly with my progress and even offered up advise as to substitutions and workout plans. I have been on her plan for 3 months and I have lost 20 lbs, as of today!! Still going strong to reach my goal!
Long time coming
I met Brittany through our networking group and as I watched 5 of our members melt away under her supervision and I have tried every diet under the sun I gave it a try, I’m 70 and had no confidance it would work, Brittany set up a plan to hit my goal to lose 20lbs in 10 weeks. I started on Memorial Day (at a BBQ) as of Aug 1 23lbs later in only 8 weeks and still going strong I can’t thank her enough.
The only downside is I have to purchase a new wardrobe
